We would like to report the results of the "Contact Lens Empty Case Collection Campaign (Eye City eco Project)" that was recently conducted.

Report on Collection Results

Thanks to your cooperation, we collected a large number of empty cases as follows.

Collected weight: 0.110 kg
Number of items collected: Approximately 110 pieces

Social Contribution

This project has led to the following social contributions.

1. Environmental conservation through recycling empty cases
   Empty cases are primarily made of "polypropylene," a material ideal for recycling. Collected empty cases are reprocessed at recycling plants and reborn as new products.

   The empty cases you entrusted to us this time will be recycled through Eye City. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their cooperation.
   
   

2. Support for the independence and employment of people with disabilities
   People with disabilities assist with recycling operations.
   This activity helps promote their social participation and independence.
   
   

3. Donation to the Japan Eye Bank Association Public Interest Incorporated Foundation
   All proceeds from the sale of empty cases to recycling companies are donated to the Japan Eye Bank Association Public Interest Incorporated Foundation. Eye banks play a role in bridging patients waiting for corneal transplants with donors, working with eye banks nationwide to restore the sight of those with vision impairment due to corneal diseases.
